#8 on our list of Top-10 Best Beaches in St. Croix USVI is Hotel on the Cay Beach. Hotel on the Cay Beach is located on its own little island called Protestant Cay, which is in Christiansted right across the water from the boardwalk.  The beach is also known as Protestant Cay Beach. This beach has golden powder sand, crystal clear water, and amazing views of downtown Christiansted.  It's a 2 minute ferry ride from the boardwalk. It's a perfect place for a family or group of people because there a lot of activities. Aside from the beautiful water, there 's a great restaurant and one of the best beach bars on island.   A full-service St. Croix watersports center offers jet ski rentals , windsurfing , paddle board rentals , and snorkel rentals. Rainbow Beach St. Croix USVI is located on the West End of St Croix closer to Frederiksted.  The water is very calm and the powdery sand is white and beautiful.  Rainbow Beach is Frederiksted’s most famous beach, with a lot of recreational activities. It's a favorite for tourists and locals alike and a great place to try out water sports in St. Croix .  You'll find good scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boarding, and jet skiing. You can expect the small stretch of sand to get busier on the weekends as islanders flock to the shores to share food, laughs, and sunshine after a long week or work.  Swimming there is great too because there's lots of sandy bottoms and very gentle waves.  It's also one of the  best places to watch a sunset in St. Croix. Paradise Beach St. Croix Paradise Beach St Croix is a small but beautiful beach located right next to the Frederiksted pier.  This makes it one of the best St Croix beaches near the cruise port for cruise ship passengers with only a few hours on island. Paradise Beach has a mix of rocks and sand and has very mild waves. This makes it a nice little beach for swimming, snorkeling and sun tanning. You can rent a lounge chair & umbrellas for $15/person (as of 2023).  You'll have to bring your own towel and other beach accessories. The next beach in our competition of the  10  best beaches in St. Croix  USVI:  #6  Sandy Point Beach Sandy Point Beach  is located on the West End of St Croix and the best on the island for long walks. Simply put,  this beach is absolutely stunning  and ranked in the top 5 of all  best US Virgin Islands beaches . It boasts crystal clear blue water and a 3-mile long stretch of sandy white beach (one of the longest in the Caribbean). This beach is typically  not crowded , and often it’s likely that you’ll be one of the only ones there. There is little to no shade here. And if you’re interested in St Croix scuba diving or snorkeling , Cane Bay Beach is the place to go.  Cane Bay is renowned as an excellent snorkeling and scuba diving site.   You can dive right off the beach and the famous “ The Wall ” is only 500 yards offshore, where the water suddenly drops to incredible depths of 13,000 feet.
