Paradise Beach St. Croix

Paradise Beach St Croix is a small but beautiful beach located right next to the Frederiksted pier. This makes it one of the best St Croix beaches near the cruise port for cruise ship passengers with only a few hours on island.

Paradise Beach has a mix of rocks and sand and has very mild waves. This makes it a nice little beach for swimming, snorkeling and sun tanning.

You can rent a lounge chair & umbrellas for $15/person (as of 2023). You'll have to bring your own towel and other beach accessories.

If you get a bit hungry or thirsty, there are usually a few places at St. Croix Paradise Beach serving beers & cocktails (2023 prices are ~$8 per beer and ~$15 per mixed drink).

Paradise Beach is conveniently located next to Fort Frederik, a very interesting and historic part of St. Croix. St. Croix Watersports at Paradise Beach

There are some on-site providers of very basic water sports equipment like snorkel sets and boogey boards. It’s also possible to have water sports equipment delivered for the day to Paradise Beach through a company called Sea Sports St. Croix.

But most people looking to do watersports head to Rainbow Beach about a 1.5 miles away. There you can get a full selection like jet ski rentals, paddle board rentals, and sometimes parasailing. Be aware that both beaches can get crowded when cruise ships are in port.
