#3 Cane Bay Beach

Cane Bay Beach St. Croix is a popular family beach, and 2023 is off to a great start.  Its calm water makes it ideal for young kids and inexperienced swimmers.

And if you’re interested in St Croix scuba diving or snorkeling, Cane Bay Beach is the place to go. Cane Bay is renowned as an excellent snorkeling and scuba diving site.  You can dive right off the beach and the famous “The Wall” is only 500 yards offshore, where the water suddenly drops to incredible depths of 13,000 feet.

You’ll also find beach lounge chair rentals, beach umbrella rentals and snorkeling gear rentals are here, which are popular with visitors.

There are also a few good restaurants around, see below. 

Cane Bay is a great spot for sunbathing, walking, snorkeling, having a cool drink at a beach bar or just hanging out. The long white sand beach is lined with many trees which provide good shade. 

The beach is easily accessed from the main road. A kayak shop, restaurant & bars are located in walking distance from the beach. Volleyball net is available on the left side of the beach. The water is usually calm but there can be strong currents.

Off the Wall:   a Cane Bay beach restaurant classic.  Outdoor bar and beach reastaurant serving burgers, calzones, pizzas and other fare.  Has tables, picnic tables, and bar seating areas.

Ama at Cane Bay:   A delightful oceanfront sustainable seafood restaurant, fine wines & craft cocktail bar.   They work with local farmers and environmentally responsible fisherman and divers to produce amazing meals and memorable experience.   Here's the menu.

Spratnet Beach Bar Grill:   a casual open air beach bar that serves drinks, food and ice cream.  This is a very nice bar and grill that is located right off of Cane Bay Beach. It is a small tike style beach bar that has a limited menu that includes wraps, burgers, sandwiches and appetizers. They also also some of the popular tropical drinks.
